Bids for re-accommodation new government building in

PHILIPSBURG - Six bids were received from companies vying for the contract to prepare the framework for re-accommodation in the new Government Administration Building. The bids were collected at the Programme and Project Bureau (PPB) Wednesday.
Submitting bids were Bestuur & Management Consultants, Project Logistic Consultants, IMD Consultancy, Next Step Consultanting n.v./Ingenieursbureau Techcon N.V., DMC N.V./Boag B.V. and Desk’ount/Bemal Enterprises N.V.
The project, financed by the Island Government, entails re-accommodation of the Government apparatus, design and installation of automation and information systems and improvement of public service. The preparatory works have to be carried out in approximately 20 weeks after awarding the contracts.
Present for the bid submission were Commissioner Louie Laveist, Island Secretary Joan Dovale-Meit, PPB Director Louis Brown, Management Resources Director Ronald Boeldak, Management Support Services Director Randy Duggins, Ronald Lieuw-Sjong of Next Step Consultant and project managers Julian Arrindell, Henry Dwarkasing and Elso Kraai.
