Full Roll-Out Of NUYP In July

KINGSTON (JIS) -- The HEART Trust/National Training Agency (NTA) will commence a full roll-out of its National Unattached Youth Programme (NUYP), in July.

KINGSTON (JIS) -- Minister of State in the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, Hon. Julian Robinson, is encouraging more young females to become actively involved in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

KINGSTON (JIS) -- The Ministry of Finance and Planning has released a song to promote the country’s Economic Reform Programme (ERP) dubbed, ‘A Fi wi Bizniz’, the song is performed by renowned Reggae singer, Ernie Smith and produced by Dizzy Minott and Mikey Bennett.

More Job Placements For NYS Participants

KINGSTON (JIS) -- More job placement opportunities have been opened up for young people who will be participating in the National Youth Service (NYS) Summer Job Programme.

Amnesty For MSMEs

KINGSTON (JIS) -- The Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) will be embarking on an amnesty initiative starting May 4, 2015, which will run for three months.

KINGSTON (JIS) -- Minister of Education, Hon. Rev. Ronald Thwaites, has reiterated that persons aspiring to become school leaders must be certified under the Aspiring Principals Programme.
