BES Commissioner more willing to listen says Roy Hooker

PHILIPSBURG/Statia - Commissioner Roy Hooker of St.Eustatius stated on Thursday afternoon that he is pleased with Wednesdays meeting with the Dutch Commissioner for the Windward Islands, Henk Kemp.
The Commissioner that he was particularly pleased with the discussion with the Executive Council that lasted a little less than three hours.
The division of task between the Dutch Government and that of the Island authorities, was the main focus for the talks with the Dutch Representatives on Wednesday afternoon.
Commissioner Hooker however stated that before a decision can be taken on the possible conclusion points, the mater must be taken to the island council of St. Eustatius.
The BES Commissioner Henk Kemp managed this time around to leave the impression that he in now more willing to listen to leaders of the Island Territory and to consider their imput.
