VAT Education meeting with Promoters of Public Entertainment

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada - The Value added Tax (VAT) Unit of the Ministry of Finance, would be meeting with Promoters of Public Entertainment on Thursday 20th August 2009, at 10:30pm at the St. Andrew’s Andrews Anglican primary school. This meeting is geared towards educating the persons involved in these activities of their obligations as per the VAT law.
he VAT team would continue to conduct a series of business education and public meetings over the upcoming months leading up to implementation date, throughout Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, informing the general public and the business community of their obligations under the VAT system and assisting and creating a partnership link with them in order to achieve a successful implementation of the Value Added Tax on February 1st 2010.
