MIAMI, FL, U.S.A. (NHC | 08:58 AM) -- There's a weak and elongated area of low pressure over the far eastern Atlantic Ocean a few hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and it continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions have become less favorable, so development of this system, if any, should be slow to occur while it moves westward.
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Guillermo, located over the far eastern North Pacific Ocean well to the west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Additional tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
